The short version

We collect what we need to run the course: your quiz answers, email, account details, and what you type into lessons and AI practice.
We do not sell your personal information.
What you send to AI features is processed by our AI providers only to generate your answer. We set them up so your content is not used to train their models.
Payments are handled by Creem. We never see your full card number.
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time.

This Privacy Policy explains how Noeto ("Noeto", "we", "us") handles personal information when you use our website, quiz and web app (the "Service"). Contact us at [email protected] with any questions.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Quiz answers, such as your role, the tasks you spend time on, your experience with AI and how much time you can spend each day. We use them to build your learning plan.
Contact and account details, such as your email address and name.
Content you create in the Service, such as prompts, text you paste into practice exercises, AI responses, and your course progress.
Messages you send us, for example to support.

Information collected automatically

Usage information, such as the pages and quiz steps you view, lessons you complete, and buttons you click.
Device and log information, such as IP address, browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies. We use a cookie to remember your quiz progress and keep you signed in. With your consent where required, we also use advertising and analytics tags, such as the Meta Pixel, to measure whether our ads lead to visits, quiz completions and sign-ups.
Campaign information, such as which ad or link brought you to Noeto (UTM parameters).

Information from payment processing

Our Merchant of Record, Creem, processes payments. Creem shares with us your name, email, country, the plan you bought, and payment status. We do not receive or store your full card number.

2. How we use information

To provide the Service: build your plan, deliver lessons, run AI practice exercises and track progress.
To manage your subscription, including sending receipts and the reminder before your first monthly charge.
To communicate with you about your account and, if you agree or where the law allows, about new lessons and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
To understand and improve the Service, for example which quiz questions people drop off at.
To measure our advertising.
To keep the Service safe, including detecting misuse of AI features under our Acceptable Use Policy.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. AI features

When you use AI features, the text you submit and relevant context are sent to the AI model provider that answers your request: OpenAI (ChatGPT models), Anthropic (Claude models) or Google (Gemini models). We use these providers' business API services, under terms that do not allow them to use your content to train their models. Providers may keep data for a limited time to detect abuse, under their own policies. Do not submit confidential information you are not allowed to share.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers that help us run Noeto, under agreements that limit how they can use it:

Creem: payments, tax and subscription management
OpenAI, Anthropic, Google: AI responses
Cloudflare: website hosting, security and email routing
Neon and our cloud hosting providers: database and app hosting
Resend: sending account and reminder emails
Meta: measuring advertising performance

We may also share information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.

Some US state laws treat sharing data with advertising partners, like the Meta Pixel, as "sharing" or "targeted advertising". You can opt out by emailing us or by declining advertising cookies where offered.

5. How long we keep information

Account data and course content: while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep records, such as transaction records for tax purposes.
Quiz answers from visitors who don't create an account: up to 12 months.
Logs and security data: up to 12 months.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict some processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We will respond within the time required by law, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

Noeto is operated from South Korea, and our service providers process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

9. Children

The Service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If changes are material, we will tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
